S∙pot suggests a new design solution that integrates user experience and space, fusing friendly form languages such as lighting and basket. It consists of a metallic frame and lighting, reusable plastics parts for body and water containers. The frame and lighting use metal, which allows magnetic use and lighting angles to be adjusted to help the plant grow better. The frame attached to the bottom of the plastic body provides a handle for mobility and can function for numerous other convenient uses such as a holder and push bar. Frosted water tank metaphorically describes the amount of water to notify the
timing of water supplement.
LED grow light – The s∙pot uses the most efficient full-spectrum horticulture Samsung LED chips optimized for plant growth. You will be able to grow plants in low-light settings since it provides about 15,000 lux of light. Two brightness levels (50%, 100%) are available for different plant types. An optional timer also allows users to set the light to last for a certain number of hours.
Smart Watering System – utilizes capillary action to supply the proper amount of water to the plant. The water tank can hold up to 8.5 oz, and the watering wick will control the pace so that the water will be supplied for up to 10 days.

The cable is only connected to the lighting part; thus, it can be used when it’s needed. Lighting has two levels of brightness control. Angle adjustable and can be used for both planting and interior lighting. It uses a small amount of electricity through a USB cable; therefore, it has great mobility. A harmony between lighting and plant and its expansion suggests a new user experience and stereoscopic interior scene.
Daisy-chain Connection – The s∙pot has two USB-C ports to connect in various ways. You can connect multiple s•pots to one power source. Connect up to six s•pots by using a USB-C power adapter, three for a USB-A power adapter, and one for a PC.
Sustainability – The s•pot’s structure is designed for longevity, easy maintenance, and reparability. As a product with a long life span, it does not pose a threat to the environment as an additional burden on landfills. The product and the packaging are made of materials that are easy to separate and recycle (PP, Steel). Also, to facilitate the recycling of the product, we minimized the use of screws and adhesives.
